Founded in 1999, the Breath of Life Children's Center clinic is a 501(c) 3 non-profit children's public charity emergent care clinic. Their Mission is to provide uninsured/underinsured children with an improved quality of life through easily accessible healthcare and guidance.
In 2005 our organization was able to provide healthcare services to 3,534 uninsured/underinsured children, thereby providing 1,894 sick visits and 6,128 immunizations for children between the ages of newborn to 17 years residing in Katy/West Harris and surrounding counties.
The Breath of Life Children's Center clinic is collaborating with area hospitals to treat children in non-life threatening situations (earaches, fever, bronchitis, Asthma, Pneumonia, and other childhood related illnesses) so that we may free up their emergency rooms for more serious situations such as heart attacks and car accidents. Call for Adult clinic information. We believe that no child in our community should be left untreated due to a family's financial hardship.
Bilingual volunteers are needed to help with administrative duties. Properly credentialed professional volunteers are always welcomed. Help us discover you by calling Shari W. at 281-398-7353.
