Ovarian Cancer

If you have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, you are not alone. Ovarian cancer, the growth of abnormal cells in the female hormone-producing organs known as the ovaries, is the eighth leading form of cancer in women, with approximately 20,000 new cases diagnosed each year in the United States.

Endometrial cancer, or cancer of the uterine lining, is the most common cancer of the female reproductive system, affecting roughly 40,000 women each year. However, it is also one of the most survivable gynecological cancers, if diagnosed early and properly treated.

Cervical Cancer

Cancer of the cervix – the section of tissue forming the lower opening of the uterus – may not have any initial symptoms. However, it can be detected earlier than other cancers, provided a woman sees her physician for an annual gynecological exam, including a Pap test.
