Antonio Cervadoro received his Master Degree from “Sapienza” University of Rome, Italy in 2010. In the same year he started his research project at University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston for the department of Nano-medicine and Biomedical Engineering. He joined The Methodist Hospital Research Institute in October of 2010 as a Research Fellow, where he is developing his research experience in biomedical engineering.

Description of Research

  • Thermal ablation of solid cancer by means of Radio-Frequencies and nano-particles.
  • Application of alternate magnetic field as a possible mechanism of heating nanopaticles.

Major Areas of Research

Superparamagnetic nanoparticles; thermal ablation therapy.
