Accreditations, Recognitions and Partnerships
Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT)
The Center for Cell and Gene Therapy (CAGT), a collaborative program between Houston Methodist Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital, recently received accreditation from the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT). FACT establishes standards for high quality medical and laboratory practice in cellular therapies.
Commission on Quality and Safety and the Commission on Breast Imaging
Methodist Breast Center is recognized as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR) Commission on Quality and Safety and the Commission on Breast Imaging. Methodist Breast Center is accredited by the ACR in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy.
Houston Methodist Hospital is consistently recertified to Magnet status for exceptional nursing.
