Step LITESM Program Outcomes – 347 patients over a 2 year period who attended the Step Lite (moderate weight loss program) from 2009 to 2011 lost an average of 9.2% of their body weight or an average of 20.7 lbs. after completing the program over 13+ weeks. Step Lite is a moderate weight loss/lifestyle intervention program emphasizing self monitoring and exercise that uses a combination of high protein beverage/bars plus regular food.
Medical Weight Management Patient Outcomes -4196 patients over a 5 year period who attended the Medical Weight Management (rapid weight loss) program from 2008 to 2013 lost an average of 26.8% of their body weight or average body weight loss of 86.3 lbs after completion of the program at 1 year. The Medical Weight Management Program which is offered in the Texas Medical Center, Willowbrook, West Houston and Sugar Land is a rapid weight loss/lifestyle intervention program that uses meal replacement beverages/bars. Weekly medical clinics, group classes and monthly support groups facilitated by experienced clinicians (nurses, physicians, dietitians, counselors) are all included in this program.
