Dr. Satija is a fellowship trained, interventional pain management specialist who has dedicated his life to the eradication of pain. After graduating his residency from Baylor college of Medicine, he went on to complete an interventional pain management fellowship in the department of Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Health Science center, San Antonio, which is ranked as one of the top training facilities in the country for pain medicine. Dr. Satija also obtained a Headache fellowship to gain expertise in Headache management.
Dr Satija focuses on providing pain treatment for a variety of chronic pain syndromes; from low back pain to complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) with a holistic approach. His clinical practice focuses on the functional rehabilitation of chronic pain patients and restoring their quality of life by offering a comprehensive multi-disciplinary approach to treatment of pain. He specializes in difficult cases where other pain doctors have given up. Dr. Satija is involved with multiple research studies and is an Assistant Professor at Methodist Neurological Institute, Houston Methodist hospital and Weill Cornell College of Medicine. His training in neurology, headache and interventional pain management has positioned him to provide the highest quality pain management to the Houston area.
