The Methodist Hospital Research Institute recently broke ground on a new facility that will house 420,000 square feet of advanced medical research space adjacent to The Methodist Hospital in Houston. Physicians and scientists working in the new building will focus on translating the latest discoveries from the research laboratory into new treatments for patients in Houston and around the world.
When completed in the fall of 2009, the Methodist Hospital Research Institute building will include six floors of laboratory space, state of the art imaging equipment and specially-designed operating rooms dedicated to research
