The practice of obstetrics and gynecology is changing rapidly and physicians and health care teams should know how these changes will effect their patient care. Women are taking charge of their health and as a result are active and living longer. We, as leaders, need to be prepared to meet their needs.
This program will share the importance of compassion and communication in health care:
- Discuss the origins of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN)
- Recognize the impact of technology and sub-specialization on OB-GYN
- Discuss how gender and generational change influence the practice of OB-GYN
- Identify the workforce issues facing women's health
