Biography

Dr. Haque received her MD degree from the Osmania University in Hyderabad, India in 1965. She then pursued her residency training in India, the United States, and Canada. In addition to her residency training, Dr. Haque also completed a fellowship in electron microscopy. Dr. Haque received her first faculty appointment in 1979 as an instructor in the Department of Pathology at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas. She became a full professor there in 1993. While at UTMB, she held several leadership positions including director of the autopsy service and director of the anatomic pathology laboratories. Dr. Haque joined Houston Methodist in 2004, and received her faculty appointment at the Weill Cornell Medical College in 2006.

Dr. Haque is a general surgical pathologist with subspecialty interest in non-small cell lung carcinomas.
