Biography

Dr. Piao received her medical degree from the Yanbian Medical School in Yanji, China and her PhD in molecular biology from the University of Paris VII in Paris, France. She completed a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the State University of New York at Buffalo, a hematopathology fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia University in New York, NY, and a cytopathology fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Piao joined Houston Methodist Hospital in 2011. Dr. Piao is a general surgical pathologist with subspecialty certification in hematopathology and cytopathology.
