Biography

Dr. Held is a Board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who offers a wide range of women´s healthcare services including routine and high risk obstetrics, routine gynecology and well women exams, menstrual abnormalities, adolescent gynecology, infertility, contraception, osteoporosis diagnosis and care, and menopausal management. Dr. Held´s academic achievements include being elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society and receiving the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation from the American Medical Women´s Association. In addition, she was honored with the Outstanding Resident Research Award while at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.

Description of Research

Dr. Held´s research focuses on postoperative febrile morbidity in abdominal myomectomy patients, and novel treatments for HPV-16 positive cervical cancer.
