The Department of Pathology and Genomic Medicine is strongly committed to providing a supportive research environment for investigators and developing the next generation of physician scientists. We provide a variety of academic support services are offered to department faculty, residents, fellows, and staff including:

  • graphics and illustrations
  • poster layout and printing
  • statistics guidance
  • regulatory guidance for research protocols involving human subjects or preclinical models
  • introductions to collaborators and education, research, and clinical resources available throughout Houston Methodist

Department of Pathology faculty and trainees are encouraged to access our academic development services in advance of submission deadlines:
  • Editing and revising posters, manuscripts, and grant applications
  • Preparation of regulatory protocols (IRB, IACUC, etc.)
  • Identification of potential sources of funding for research and training
