Leylah wants to pursue a clinical residency in a large medical center to play a role in actively optimizing patient care. Her clinical areas of interest are oncology, cardiology, and internal medicine. Currently, she is an active member of American Pharmacists Association (APhA) and Student Society of Health System Pharmacy (SSHP). Besides pharmacy, Leylah’s hobbies are baking, traveling, and spending time with family. Her future rotations at Houston Methodist include internal medicine, administration, and infectious diseases. 
Research project: Use of Pertuzumab / Trastuzumab in HER2+ Breast Cancer patient in the neoadjuvant setting to determine its effect on pathological complete response

Olivia wants to complete a PGY1 residency and a PGY2 residency to specialize in either oncology or internal medicine. Currently, she is a member of Student Society of Health-System Pharmacy (SSHP) and Rho Chi Honor Society. Last year, she was a member of the Admissions Committee and was a class representative. Besides pharmacy, Olivia’s hobbies are playing soccer or volleyball and traveling. Her future rotations at Houston Methodist include oncology, neurology, and internal medicine.

Rodrigo wants to pursue a PGY1 and PGY2 residency for one of his clinical areas of interest, which include critical care, cardiology, and transplant. Currently, he is an active member of Phi Lambda Sigma and Rho Chi Honor Society. He was the Immediate Past Regent of the Delta Delta Chapter of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc. Besides pharmacy, Rodrigo’s hobbies are spending time with my family, watching soccer and football games, and listening to all types of music. His future rotations at Houston Methodist include medication safety, internal medicine, and transplant therapeutics.

Honey wants to complete a residency after graduation. Ultimately, she hopes to be a clinical pharmacist at a large academic medical center to provide personalized care. Currently, she is a member of American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP), American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), Student Society of Health-System Pharmacy (SSHP), Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacy (TSHP), Texas Pharmacy Association (TPA). Besides pharmacy, Honey’s hobbies include traveling, outdoor sports, and hanging out with friends. Her future rotations at Houston Methodist include administration, internal medicine, and cardiovascular intensive care unit.
